In my series Night Visions, natural divine light is replaced by engendered illumination.
Soft, hushed images have evolved from nominal subject matter. Recognition of the subject has diminished, but at the same time intensified to a total shaped luminescence.
Whether the images are recognizable or hushed, my large scale digital prints amplify this sacred light.
If I choose to take an image to a highly pixilated level, each pixel contributes a distinct radiance. The utmost example being Perchance to Dream. In a sense, life has been renewed.
